What we set up
- A VPN on your phone and computer. We help you choose one that fits your needs. Our usual starting recommendation is Proton VPN. [[TODO: keep this sentence only after you have tested Proton VPN yourself and can explain why you recommend it. Delete the sentence if you cannot.]]
- A password manager, so every account gets a strong, unique password.
- Two-factor authentication on the accounts that matter most, starting with your email.
- A leak test, so you can see for yourself that the VPN is working.
What is not included
- The subscriptions themselves. The VPN and password-manager plans are paid directly to their providers. We do not resell them.
- Anything illegal, or anything meant to break a service's rules, including getting around a streaming service's location limits.
- Cleaning up a device that has already been hacked. If you think that has happened, start with the steps in what to do after a data breach, and see a repair professional.
- Guarantees of anonymity or perfect security. We reduce common risks. We cannot remove them all.
