Service terms

These terms apply when you book a setup session with Norvon.

What you are buying

A remote video session in which we help you set up a VPN, a password manager and two-factor authentication on your own devices, followed by a written summary and 14 days of email support. The scope of each package is listed on the services page.

What is not included

• The provider subscriptions (VPN, password manager and similar). These are paid directly to the providers.
• Repair or clean-up of a device that is already infected or compromised.
• Help with anything unlawful, or with getting around a service's terms.
• Support after the 14-day support period, unless we agree it in writing.

Your responsibilities

• Attend the session with the devices you want to set up, charged and updated as far as you can.
• Keep control of your own devices and accounts. Do not share passwords or verification codes with us.
• Back up anything important before we change settings.

Scheduling and cancellation

• You can reschedule for free up to 24 hours before your session.
• If you cancel less than 24 hours before, or miss the session, [[TODO: choose a rule, for example one free reschedule, otherwise a 50% fee]].

Refunds

• If we cannot complete the agreed setup for a reason on our side, we will either finish it at no extra charge or refund you in full.
• If a provider's own service prevents the setup (for example, an outage), we will reschedule at no extra charge.
• If you are unhappy with the session, tell us within 7 days and we will discuss a fair solution.

No guarantees

We reduce common privacy and security risks. We cannot guarantee anonymity, protection from every threat, or that any provider's service will be available or unchanged. Providers can change their products, prices and policies.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

Independence and affiliate links

We are independent of the providers whose tools we set up. Some links may be affiliate links, as explained in our affiliate disclosure. Signing up through a link is never required.
