How we protect your data
You are trusting us with a sensitive job, so here are the rules we follow. These are commitments, not marketing.
You stay in control
- We never take remote control of your device. You share your screen, or follow along on your own device, and you do every step.
- We never ask for your passwords, recovery codes or one-time verification codes. If anyone claiming to be us asks for them, it is not us.
- You create your own accounts. The VPN and password manager accounts are yours, in your name, with your master password.
What we keep, and what we do not
- We do not keep copies of your passwords, recovery codes or vault contents.
- We keep only what we need to serve you: your name, email address, booking details and a short note about the package and devices, so we can support you for 14 days and handle any refund. We delete session notes after [[TODO: choose a period you will really follow, for example 90 days]].
- We do not sell or share your information. See our privacy policy.
How to spot scams that pretend to be us
- We only speak to people who have booked with us.
- We never call, text or email you first to say your computer is infected.
- We never ask you to install remote-access software or to pay with gift cards or cryptocurrency.
If you get a message like that using our name, please tell us, and report it to the Federal Trade Commission at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
What a VPN and these tools cannot do
They reduce common risks. They do not make you anonymous or immune to phishing, and they cannot protect a device that is already compromised. We will tell you plainly where the limits are.
